Amon hated to admit it, but Lucinda was right.

He turned back to Lucinda with a cold face and said stiffly, “I’m sorry, but I can’t take them off yet. You are still the main suspect.
I’ll have to send you to the incarceration room and interrogate you later.”
The incarceration room was a horrible place where felony criminals were usually sent.
Criminals were usually tortured in there. The tortures were designed to physically and mentally break tough prisoners.
This was a very discreet place that wasn’t open to all prisoners.
